Alayna Klein (she/her/hers) is a New York City-based set designer whose work transforms the emotional into the physical. With a unique blend of sensitivity and intuition, Alayna creates evocative environments that both contain and expand stories. She believes that outstanding design seamlessly merges form and function, engages both the heart and the mind, and favors poetry over prose. Motivated by the complexities of the human condition, Alayna is committed to challenging and evolving her own worldview and that of others.

Alayna earned dual BAs in Theatre Art and Visual Art from SUNY New Paltz in 2018. She looks forward to graduating with her MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University in June 2025.
